On Saturday the UFC heads to Dublin for the third time in history with “UFC Fight Night 76: Duffy vs. Poirier,” a card that’s heavy on Irish talent.
The event takes place at 3Arena in Dublin, and the entire lineup streams on UFC Fight Pass.
In the headliner, Ireland’s own Joseph Duffy (14-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) takes on tough vet Dustin Poirier (18-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC).
For Duffy, who’s a nearly 2.5-1 favorite, it’s a chance to claim his third straight UFC win and also further prove he’s more than just the last man to defeat UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor. That 2010 Cage Warriors victory over “Notorious” has been Duffy’s claim to fame, but a victory over Poirier, who’s 2-0 with two “Performance of the Night” bonuses since moving back up to 155 pounds, could further move him up the lightweight ranks.

In UFC Fight Night 76’s co-headliner, Paddy Holohan (12-1-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and Louis Smolka (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC), who are both honorable mentions and just outside the top 15 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA flyweight rankings, clash in a bout that oddsmakers consider a near-dead heat.
The duo recently earned co-headlining duties when Stipe Miocic (13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) suffered an injury and forced the cancellation of a bout with fellow heavyweight contender Ben Rothwell (35-9 MMA, 5-3 UFC).
The full UFC Fight Night 76 lineup includes:
MAIN CARD (UFC Fight Pass, 4 p.m. ET)
PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC Fight Pass, 1 p.m.)
