Next Saturday, Brandon Thatch headlines a UFC event for the first time in his career. Watch the crushing finish that earned him that opportunity.
In November 2013, Thatch traveled to Brazil to face native son Paulo Thiago at UFC Fight Night 32. A notoriously difficult place for foreign fighters to compete, Brazil proved no challenge to Thatch, who walked forward with his trademarked aggression and ended the fight with a crushing knee to the liver.
The once-beaten welterweight has earned all 11 of his career wins by first-round stoppage. Watch the video above to see his most recent effort.
Thatch (11-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) returns to action at next weekend’s UFC Fight Night 60 in Broomfield, Colo., where he takes on former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson.
