WMMA Preview: Sean McCorkle Tells How He Accidentally Became One of the Toughest Men

Worldwide Mixed Martial Arts is set to land in Texas on March 31 with former UFC heavyweight Sean McCorkle headlining the card against Brian Heden in the main event.

The co-main event of the evening will showcase former UFC welterweight contender Karo Parisyan as he tries to blaze his trail back to the Octagon as he faces veteran fighter Thomas “Wildman” Denny.

The card takes place on March 31 in El Paso, Tex at the Don Haskins Center while the WMMA also partners with the Wounded Warrior Project and Fort Bliss, with proceeds going to the charities as well.

The promotion has also released a countdown style show in anticipation of the even taking place later this month, featuring profiles on the main and co-main event fighters.

Of course Sean McCorkle steals the show with his always outspoken nature, where he tells about how he got involved in the sport essentially default.

“I found out accidentally I was one of the toughest men in the world,” said McCorkle.

He admits that his father is no fan of his fight career, but really what it all came down to for McCorkle was money and women versus less money and fewer women.

“He doesn’t understand why I wouldn’t want to use my brain to make a living, which I would like to, but you don’t get nearly as many girls or as much money if you’re using your brain I’m coming to find out as when you fight,” McCorkle said. “That’s like the ultimate pick-up line for girls, or that you’re in a video game, that helps too.”
