WMMA is kicking things off big with their inaugural charitable fighting event McCorkle vs. Heden: Fighting for a Better World on Saturday night at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas.
UFC veteran Sean McCorkle faces Brian Heden in the super heavyweight main event, while Karo Parisyan faces Thomas Denny in the co-main event. The card is loaded with several UFC, Stirkeforce, and Pride veterans and several other top fighters.
A portion of the proceeds goes to benefit service men and women via Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and the U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2).
WMMA is holding a pre-fight press conference on Thursday afternoon at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT at the Don Haskins Center and we’re streaming it LIVE on MMAWeekly.com. So be sure to tune in!
We’ll also be streaming the weigh-ins on Friday at 7 p.m. ET and the McCorkle vs. Heden undercard at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday.
