Vitor Belfort: “No Excuses… Jon Jones Fought Best” (UFC 152 Video)

Vitor Belfort at UFC 126Not many gave Vitor Belfort more than a puncher’s chance when he accepted a short-notice fight against UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones at UFC 152 in Toronto on Saturday night.

Belfort came closer to defeating the new phenom than anyone that has come before him. He snatched Jones’ arm, extended it as far as he could, but somehow Jones did not tap and emerged victorious with a submission of his own in the fourth round.

Obviously disappointed to wind up on the losing end of the fight, Belfort did not hang his head nor did he make excuses.

“He fought best,” Belfort simply stated.

Check out what else Vitor Belfort had to say following UFC 152 on Saturday night…
