Visa issues hit Friday's Titan FC 27 debut on CBS Sports Network

mike-ricci-tuf-16-finaleTitan FC’s debut show on CBS Sports Network has hit a few road bumps and forced some changes to Friday’s seven-bout card.

Officials today announced that visa issues have forced flyweight Pedro Nobre and featherweight Gleristone Santos from their respective bouts at Titan FC 27.

Kenneth Porter (4-1) has stepped in for Nobre (15-1-2) and now fights fellow flyweight Bill Friday(4-2). Additionally, Jeff Robbins (0-0) has replaced Santos (25-4) and now meets featherweight Kalvin Hackney (12-3).

Titan FC 27, which sees the Midwest-based promotion move from AXS TV to CBS Sports Network (check out the channel finder), now features a five-bout televised main card at 11:30 p.m. ET (8:30 p.m. PT). Two prelims, including the both replacement fights, stream on cbssportsnetwork.com at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Due to the changes, a bantamweight bout between Anthony Gutierrez (4-0) and Charlie DuBray (12-8) has been promoted to the main card, which features a lightweight headliner between UFC vets Mike Ricci (8-4) and Jorge Gurgel (14-9).

The full Titan FC 27 lineup now includes:

  • Jorge Gurgel vs. Mike Ricci
  • Michael Kuiper vs. Matthew Riddle
  • Kurt Holobaugh vs. Eric Marriott
