ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Yosdenis Cedeno was on his way to an exciting fight against Jerrod Sanders before the plug had to be pulled.
Sanders had to retire after the first round with a knee injury, giving Cedeno the TKO victory, albeit a bit of a reluctant one.
“That’s not the way I’d like to finish it, I’d like to finish by pounding him out – but that’s what our strategy was, so I’m happy with that,” Cedeno said.
Hear what Cedeno has to say about preparing to fight a striker like Sanders and how it ultimately paid off, regardless of how it finished.
