Video: William Macario’s once-blond hair was all red in post-UFC 168 interview

William Macario entered Saturday’s UFC 168 event with a bright blond mane of hair. After a grueling and bloody unanimous-decision victory, his head was all red.

Macario (7-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC), a runner-up on “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2,” battered fellow welterweight Bobby Voelker (24-11 MMA, 0-3 UFC) but couldn’t put him away on the preliminary card of UFC 168, which streamed on MMAjunkie from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.

After the fight, which marked “Patolino’s” first official UFC victory, the Brazilian striker gave props to his durable opponent, a tough-as-nails vet who withstood Macario’s best shots.

“He hurt his hand trying to knock him out, so he feels from this point forward that no one is going to be able to knock the guy out,” Macario’s translator said.
