Video: Watch classic first fight at UFC 139 between Dan Henderson, 'Shogun' Rua

The first time Dan Henderson and Mauricio Rua met in the octagon, the result was a fight that was quickly regarded as one of the best of all time.

What it may have occasionally lacked in technical mastery, it made up for in slugfest credentials. And most fans could excuse both fighters’ fading cardio down the stretch thanks to the momentum shifts in the bout.

On Sunday, “Hendo” and “Shogun” will run it back again in a rematch after Henderson’s win at UFC 139 in November 2011. The two meet in the main event of UFC Fight Night 38. While the first bout took place in Henderson’s home state of California, this one goes down in Rua’s home country at Ginasio Nelio Dias in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
