Video: Watch a Fedor Emelianenko training session in Dubai

Whether or not he ever does return to fighting, Fedor Emelianenko (34-4) will always be known as one of the greatest heavyweights in the history of MMA? So just how is he looking these days?

Our friends at WHOATV recently caught up with Emelianenko in Dubai, where “The Last Emperor” was conducting an MMA seminar. See highlights of the session in the video above.

Emelianenko hasn’t fought since June 2012 and, barring a significant change of heart, he doesn’t seem to have any plans of ever fighting professionally again, if recent statements are any indication.

“I’m loving my life right now without the fights,” Emelianenko in February told MMAjunkie. “I’m enjoying the time off, I’m enjoying the retirement. I’m giving my body the chance to heal and recuperate. I’m advocating on behalf of MMA in Russia as well as worldwide. As it is right now I don’t have any plans on coming back.”

Still, that doesn’t ever seem to stem the flow of speculation, with fans wondering if the 38-year-old Russian could ever make one more run. To see highlights of Emelianenko in action, check out the video above.
