Rory MacDonald got his first real taste of the limelight in early 2012 when he got co-headlining duties against Che Mills at the UFC 145 pay-per-view event.

With his highest placement on a fight card, MacDonald capitalized on the opportunity and delivered Mills a crushing loss in the April bout.

Check out the finish above.

And catch MacDonald (14-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) back in action at Saturday’s UFC on FOX 8 event, where he meets fellow welterweight contender Jake Ellenberger (29-6 MMA, 8-2 UFC) in a network-televised co-headliner.
