Video: Watch UFC on FOX 8 headliner Demetrious Johnson fight Ian McCall in 2012

Before he won the UFC flyweight title and was booked for Saturday’s UFC on FOX 8 headliner, Demetrious Johnson first needed to get by Ian McCall.

Twice, in fact.

In March 2012 the two fighters were part of a four-man tournament to determine the UFC’s first-ever 125-pound champion. However, a rematch of their opening-round matchup was booked after the first fight ended in a majority draw (and after a scoring error was caught too late to force the contracted sudden-victory fourth round).

Check out the video above to see the rematch, which took place at UFC on FX 3 in June 2012. And catch Johnson (17-2-1 MMA, 5-1-1 UFC) in action on Saturday, when he meets John Moraga (13-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in his second title defense.
