Michael Bisping has fought in front of friendly crowds more than his fair share during his UFC career.
Six times, Bisping has fought in his home country of England. Five other times, he’s fought in Canada or Australia, which as members of the Commonwealth, can give a home vibe from the fans for British fighters.
But on Saturday, Bisping (24-6 MMA, 14-6 UFC) is back on the other side of the line when he meets Cung Le (9-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) in the UFC Fight Night 48 main event in Macau.
Back in 2008, Bisping tried to stay perfect in his home country when he took on Jason Day at UFC 85 in London. He did so, and he did so with vigor, stopping Day in the first round in front of a raucous crowd at The O2.
Check out the video above of that fight, which brought Bisping to 16-1 and kept him perfect in England at 13-0, including 3-0 in the UFC.
Then don’t miss UFC Fight Night 48, takes place at The Venetian Macao’s CotaiArena in Macau. The entire event streams on UFC Fight Pass with a 6:30 a.m. ET (3:30 a.m. PT) start time.
