It hasn’t been an easy road for Roy Nelson of late, with just one win in his past five fights.
But before his current rough run, Nelson had a pretty perfect set of three wins in a row – all by first-round knockout. He won a bonus for stopping Dave Herman in 51 seconds at UFC 146. Then he knocked out his “TUF 10” housemate Matt Mitrione. And at UFC 159 in April 2013, he starched Cheick Kongo for another knockout bonus.
The “TUF 10” winner needs to snap a two-fight skid on Saturday when he meets fellow heavyweight Josh Barnett (33-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC) in the main event of UFC Fight Night 75 in Japan. But before that clash, check out Nelson’s win over Kongo in the video above.
