Over the course of a 13-year professional career, Carlos Condit’s explosive striking and constant pressure have earned him the fighting moniker of “The Natural Born Killer.” Perennial contender Dong Hyun Kim can testify to that talent.
Condit and Kim met on the main card of July 2011’s UFC 132 event in a welterweight bout rife with championship implications. Condit boasted a three-fight octagon winning streak, while Kim – albeit through a technicality – had yet to officially taste defeat in the UFC, racking up five wins in the process.
Condit was on point from the opening bell, and he finished the fight in highlight-reel fashion, racking up a $75,000 bonus for the evening’s “Knockout of the Night” award in the process.

On Jan. 2, Condit (30-8 MMA, 7-4 UFC) returns to the cage to challenge current champ Robbie Lawler (26-10 MMA, 11-4 UFC) for the UFC’s welterweight title in the headlining bout of UFC 195, which takes place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena and airs on pay-per-view.
