World Series of Fighting President and combat-sports veteran Ray Sefo is “99 percent sure” he’ll be leaving the boardroom for the squared circle on New Year’s Eve.

Sefo, who’s been busy pushing WSOF’s international expansion, will take a small break as he gears up for a New Year’s Eve appearance in Japan.

“This will be my sixth pro wrestling match,” said Sefo, who’s tallied 78 pro kickboxing bouts, six boxing matches and four MMA fights during a fruitful 20-year career. “I enjoy it. It’s a lot of fun, especially because it keeps me in the fan base in Japan.”

For the overseas event, Sefo plans to take part in a tag-team match, and his partner will be K-1 legend Jerome Le Banner.

“Jerome’s mentality is the same as mine, so I think it’ll be a bangin’ night, if you will,” Sefo joked.
