Video: UFC's Jon Jones squares up with Yankees' Alex Rodriguez, Jose Bautista

As part of his promotional duties for Saturday’s UFC 165 headliner, UFC champ Jon Jones threw out a ceremonial first pitch at Thursday’s Blue Jays-Yankees game, where some baseball notables jokingly pitched a 2-on-1 fight.

Jones (18-1 MMA, 12-1 UFC), who meets top light-heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson (15-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) in a pay-per-view main event at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, was all smiles as he met up with Yankees players Alex Rodriguez and Robinson Cano and the Jays’ Jose Bautista on Thursday.

While Bautista was interested in Jones’ athletic past, MMA’s pound-for-pound kingpin offered a blunt assessment.

“I’m the most un-athletic dude ever,” Jones said when he was asked about other sports he played. “I swear to you, bro. (It was) kickboxing and wrestling. Kicking ass is what I do.”

Check out their encounter above, and watch Jones throw a perfect strike (assuming the imaginary batter was 14-feet tall) at the 1:20 mark. You can also check some photos below.
