Video: UFC 189 media call with McGregor, Mendes, Lawler and MacDonald

Did you miss this week’s UFC 189 conference call? If so, check out the highlights from the sometimes-heated media event.

The call, which took place Wednesday, featured UFC 189’s four co-headliners: Conor McGregor (17-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Chad Mendes (17-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC), who fight for an interim featherweight title in the main event, and welterweight champion Robbie Lawler (25-10 MMA, 10-4 UFC) and challenger Rory MacDonald (18-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC), who clash in the co-headliner.

McGregor and Mendes stole the show as they discussed their matchup, which was recently booked after champ Jose Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) withdrew from his scheduled title defense against McGregor due to a rib injury.
