Video: 'The Korean Cowboy' felt sluggish despite KO win at UFC 174

VANCOUVER – Tae Hyun Bang, who appears he’ll officially adopt the nickname of “The Korean Cowboy,” is happy he got the win at Saturday’s UFC 174 event, especially since he felt so sluggish during it.

Bang (17-8 MMA, 1-1 UFC) pulled off an upset and scored a third-round knockout of lightweight Kajan Johnson (19-11-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) on the FX-televised preliminary card at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena.

“What he thought was that his body felt heavier, but he was in good condition for the fight, like his body just felt just heavy, like lethargic,” Bang’s interpreter said after the event. “He wasn’t moving as fast as he usually moves.”
