Veteran heavyweight Paul Buentello (33-15) unveiled a slimmed-down physique this past weekend in an impressive light-heavyweight debut against James McSweeney (11-11).

The former UFC fighters met in the headliner in Legacy FC 22, which took place this past Friday, Aug. 23, at Civic Center Exhibit Hall in Lubbock, Texas.

The bout headlined the AXS TV-televised main card, where Buentello, a hard-hitting slugger, took on McSweeney, a kickboxer. While the bout had the expected standup exchanges, it also included a surprising amount of grappling.
