Video: Roy Jones Jr. says UFC can't make up its mind regarding Anderson Silva boxing match

According to "Superman," the ball is no longer in his court.

Not that it's going to happen any time soon, but Roy Jones Jr. is still down to box Anderson Silva.

Despite "The Spider" approaching fine form, a boxing match which was in the works pitting him against Jones Jr. could happen -- if Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lets it happen.

"Captain Hook" is still game for the possible pairing, yet he feels it's not up to him anymore.

He explains below (via MixFight):

"Well, as an actual plan, it was an actual plan. UFC, which is like M-1, they're having second thoughts. They're not really making up their mind whether they want to let him, or not let him. He wants to, because he wants to box. I want to. It's just a matter if the organization gives him the freedom to do."

First off, before you Maniacs go crazy in the comments section, "Junior" was referring to UFC as M-1 (both are MMA promotions) because he was attending an event and giving an interview to a Russian-based website.

The negotiations have certainly stalled between both parties over the past couple of months, though there's still hope that this fight could materialize. According to the recovering Brazilian, he's sort of closed the door on the matter.

We'll see what happens.
