Video: 'Road to Invicta FC 5: Penne vs. Waterson' event preview

Invicta FC returns Friday with its fifth all-female card, which features a championship doubleheader and other notables such as Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos, Sarah Kaufman and Zoila Gurgel.

Ahead of the event, which streams via online pay-per-view from Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Mo., the organization has released a preview video.

The promotional spot, which is the work of All Elbows’ immensely talented E. Casey Leydon and Esther Lin, focuses solely on the night’s headliner between 105-pound atomweight champion Jessica Penne (10-1) and Michelle Waterson (10-3).

Check out the video above for the stories behind the championship main event.
