Video: Pro FC 57 fight ends in controversial flying-knee KO, post-bout brawl

Sunday’s Pro FC 57 event ended in dramatic fashion – with the headliner and also its aftermath.

The show, which took place at Sports Palace in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, featured a middleweight main event between Shamil Abdulkhalikov and Mikhail Kolobegov.

After three rounds, rather than awarding Abdulkhalikov (10-4) what appeared to be a clearcut decision victory, officials reportedly cited a “judicial error” and added a fourth round. With the second chance, Kolobegov (9-3) then laded a flying-knee knockout.

And then all hell broke loose.

Check out the video above to see the confusing aftermath. As Kolobegov and a cornerman celebrated his controversial victory, apparent opposing cornermen charged and scaled the fence.

Soon, the cage was filled with people shoving, punching, throwing knees and trying to separate the two camps. It all happened as Abdulkhalikov remained unconscious on the mat.
