Video: MMA fighter loses (prosthetic) eye, and ref nearly steps on it

As if the knockout wasn’t bad enough, this fighter had to suffer the indignity of watching his eyeball roll away in the process.

At a small amateur event in Michigan, Alan Grays was blasted with a head kick, which sent him tumbling to the mat. It also dislodged his prosthetic eye.

In the above video, you can see Grays hit the canvas after the kick catches him clean to the head and neck. As opponent Jose Johnston moves in the for the finish, the ref narrowly avoids stepping on Grays’ eye.
