Video: Kimbo says Ken Shamrock is going to get knocked out during breakfast

Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson tells everyone he wants to break Ken Shamrock’s jaw for talking smack and shoving him seven years ago.

Now, he’ll get a chance to do it. But if he’s so intent on hurting the UFC Hall of Famer, is it an experience he wants to to do quickly, or something he wants to savor?

“I know after breakfast, there’s lunch,” Slice told reporters during an open workout in support of Bellator 138, which takes place Friday at Scottrade Center in St. Louis. “I know during the lunch period, the second quarter, he’s going to be a little bit iffy. I can knock him out easy, but I want to knock him out for breakfast, when he’s at his best.”

After the pair’s ill-fated meeting seven years ago at “Elite XC: Heat” fell apart, Slice and Shamrock are now scheduled to fight in Bellator 138’s headliner, which airs live on Spike TV.

Neither Slice (4-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) nor Shamrock (28-15-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) have fought in five years, but the opportunity of settling an old grudge – and making a big payday – proved too irresistible.

Asked what about Shamrock irked him so, Slice told MMAjunkie, “That permanently stupid look on his face, man.”

But there’s more – oh so much more – to the fight. Check out Slice as he talks about his preparation for the fight, what he expects from Shamrock, and whether there’s a backup plan in case anything goes south this time.
