Video: Gilbert Melendez vs. Diego Sanchez full fight video highlights

Check out the video highlights as Gilbert Melendez and Diego Sanchez put on a fight already considered among the greatest in MMA history at UFC 166.

Melendez (22-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) took a unanimous decision against Sanchez (24-6 MMA, 13-6 UFC), who was cut open in the first round and continued to bleed from the massive cut above his left eye throughout the fight. After the fight, UFC commentator Joe Rogan called it the best fight he’s ever seen, and UFC President Dana White later said that probably is the case, as well.

The bout took place at Houston’s Toyota Center and aired on pay-per-view.
