In his first year as a professional, Daniel Straus fought a staggering 12 times. However, now days away from a long-awaited title fight, he returns for his first bout in more than a year.
Straus cinched up a guaranteed Bellator MMA title shot with a Season 6 featherweight tournament championship. However, with the division and reigning champ tied up, Straus agreed to fight UFC vet Alvin Robinson at Bellator 78 in October 2012. It remains his most recent appearance.
Check out the full video of the fight, one in which Straus promised a riskier game plan so he could get a finish.
And catch Straus (21-4 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) in action on Saturday, when he meets featherweight champ Pat Curran (19-4 MMA, 9-1 BMMA) at Bellator 106 on Spike TV.
