Video: Bellator 117 highlights, including leg Lima's demolition of Hawn

Check out the video highlights from Friday’s Bellator 117 event, including the crowning of a new welterweight champion.

In the Spike TV-televised main event at Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Douglas Lima made easy work of Rick Hawn to claim Bellator’s vacant 170-pound belt, which Ben Askren left behind when he signed with ONE FC. Lima dropped his opponent several times with low kicks, and eventually Hawn’s corner threw in the towel.

Earlier in the card, Marcin Held submitted Derek Anderson and Patricky Freire stopped Derek Campos, and each advanced to the Season 10 lightweight tournament finals, where they’ll meet at the Bellator 120 pay-per-view next month. And Karl Amoussou got past David Gomez by split decision.
