While reports are that Jacare Souza was unable to step in for Chris Weidman to fight Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 on Saturday, Michael Bisping, who eventually got the call, said in the lead-up to the fight that his “source very close to the UFC” painted a different picture. Bisping said that Rockhold turned down the chance to defend against Jacare.
