Uriah HallIt’s no secret that Uriah Hall emerged as the odds-on favorite to win The Ultimate Fighter Season 17. He’s receiving mountains of praise from his coaches, peers, fans, and UFC president Dana White, even drawing some early comparisons to UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

Hall is appreciative of all the praise, but he’s also quick to put the brakes on such comparisons.

“I don’t want to live to anybody (else’s) expectations, I have my own,” Hall stated at Thursday’s open workouts.

He’s got expectations that include winning The Ultimate Fighter, but Hall isn’t the type to go out and throw down a bunch of trash talk with his opponents, he subscribes more to the Theodore Roosevelt approach.

“I talk with my fists.”

"Prime Time" broke his toe in the first frame (see the gruesome pic here) but kept on trucking, earning the judges' nod and high praise from UFC President Dana White. Where does he go from here? Check out the bout order for the TUF 19 Finale on Sunday, which is headlined by a 3rd meeting between Frankie Edgar and B.J. Penn. It is not my place to talk about the quality of TUF 19, because the only episode I watched was Cathal Pendred versus Eddie Gordon, and I don't need to see it again. However, everyone else from Joe Beerbelly to Dana White has derided the quality of this season's cast, and the end result is that only a handful of fighters (including Pendred for the Ireland show) are ge more
