Chris Lytle - TUF 9

Chris Lytle at the TUF 9 finale

Chris Lytle has basically lived by one premise during his fighting career, fight whoever they put in front of him at all costs.

“I won’t turn down a fight. In order to be the best in the world I have to be willing to fight anybody, anytime, anywhere,” he told MMAWeekly.com‘s Damon Martin on Friday in an exclusive interview leading up to his UFC on Versus 5 showdown with Dan Hardy.

Can that approach backfire? For sure. But it has also served Lytle well, making him one of the most popular fighters in the UFC and landing him in Sunday’s headliner.

He expects nothing less than a barn burner out of this fight as well. Lytle always brings the fight, and he expects the same out of Hardy, especially since the Brit has his back against the wall coming off of three consecutive losses.
