Thiago Silva at UFC 108The UFC handed out its usual $50,000 post-fight bonuses on Saturday night following UFC on Fuel TV 10: Nogueira vs. Werdum in Fortaleza, Brazil.

It was an all-out Silva sweep.

Light heavyweight Thiago Silva was the night’s biggest bonus winner, taking home two post-fight awards.

Former Strikeforce champion Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante looked early on like he might have Silva’s number, but as Feijao peppered him with strikes, Silva remained calm, biding his time.

Silva flipped the switch late in the first round, dropping Feijao with an uppercut, getting back on the winning track after a tough couple of years. The victory earned Silva the Knockout of the Night award with the two fighters sharing Fight of the Night honors.

Welterweight prospect Erick Silva took home the Submission of the Night bonus with his quick work of fellow UFC veteran Jason High. High tried to take Silva down, but the Brazilian turned the tables, took High’s back, and then slid off for an armbar finish… all in the first 71 seconds of the fight.

The UFC handed out a total of $200,000 in post-fight award bonuses.
