Round 2: Nunes lands an outside leg kick to start the round.  He follows up with a spinning wheel kick.  Nunes misses with a spinning back fist.  Siver clinches but Nunes frees himself.  Nunes mixing up his attack.  He lands a spinning back kick to the body.  He continues to work Siver’s legs.  Siver lands an outside leg kick.  Siver moves forward with a kick to the body.  Siver lands a leg kick.  They clinch and Siver lands a left hook on the break.  Nunes misses with a spinning heel kick at the bell.  Another close round.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Nunes.

Round 3: Nunes on the outside while Siver stands in the center of the cage.  Nunes continues to work the legs of Siver.  Siver lands a leg kick.  Nunes lands an overhand right that hurts Siver.  They clinch.  Siver delivers punches to the body. They separate.  Siver moving forward, lands an outside leg kick.  Nunes moves in and gets hit with a left hand.  They exchange leg kicks.  Nunes applies the Thai clinch.  He lands knees to the body but Siver separates.  Nunes gets the clinch.  He applies the Thai clinch and lands a knee that cuts Siver’s eye.  Nunes attempts a spinning back kick and Siver grabs him and drives him to the cage.  Nunes lands knees.  Siver lands a solid hook.  The fight goes the distance.  It’s in the hands of the judges.

All three judges scored the fight 29-28 for Dennis Siver.  Siver wins by unanimous decision.
