Round 2: Riley moving forward.  Salas landing on the outside.  Riley is bleeding from his nose.  Salas lands a left hand.  They clinch.  Salas delivers knees to the body and presses Riley against the cage.  Riley lands a knee to the body and they separate.  Salas secures a takedown but Riley immediately gets to his feet.  Salas goes to the body with a left hook.  Riley continues to press forward.  Salas circling on the outside.  Riley lands a hard outside leg kick.  Salas switching his stance often.  He lands a combination.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Salas.

Round 3: Riley takes the center of the cage.  He moves in.  Salas mixing up his strikes well.  He lands a knee as Riley closes the distance.  Salas lands a counter right hand.  Salas delivers a lead right hand.  Riley lands a leg kick.  Salas’ movement is giving Riley issues.  Salas avoids Riley’s strikes and circles away.  Riley got poked in the eye and is given time to recover.  The fight is restarted.  Riley’s face is a bloody mess.  Riley lands a hard outside leg kick.  Riley picks up the pace.  They exchange leg kicks.  Riley is chasing Salas but can’t catch him.  Riley lands a high kick.  Salas looks up at the clock.  Salas is cut.  Salas rushes in with a right hand.  They slug it out in the closing seconds.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Salas.

The judges scored the fight for Salas by split decision.  The scorecards read 29-28, 28-29 and 29-28.
