Veteran welterweight Brian Ebersole will collide with submission specialist T.J. Waldburger at UFC on FX 4, promotion officials announced Wednesday.

The addition to the card marks the fourth 170-pound affair green-lit for the event in the last 24 hours. Taking place at a to-be-named venue in Atlantic City, N.J., UFC on FX 4 will be headlined by a five-round main event between lightweights Clay Guida and Gray Maynard.

A veteran of 65 fights, Ebersole, 31, made his professional debut in 2000 but only recently joined the UFC’s welterweight ranks. The well-rounded but unorthodox talent has won his last 10 fights, topping fellow veterans Chris Lytle and Dennis Hallman before closing out 2011 with a split decision victory over Claude Patrick on Dec. 10.

Eight years the junior of his opponent, Waldburger has won six of his last seven bouts, his only loss in that span coming to highly regarded wrestler Johny Hendricks. A former Shark Fights welterweight champion, Waldburger finished last year with an award-winning submission of Mike Stumpf in September; he followed that performance by tapping Jake Hecht with slick armbar in just 55 seconds three weeks ago at UFC on FX 2.
