ericsson-globe-arena.jpgSTOCKHOLM – Saturday night’s UFC on FUEL TV 9 event drew an announced attendance of 14,506 and a live gate of $2,710,530.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) confirmed the attendance and gate figures at the night’s post-event press conference.

UFC on FUEL TV 9 took place at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, the promotion’s second event in Sweden. The main card aired on FUEL TV following prelims on Facebook.

The UFC’s first event in Sweden, UFC on FUEL TV 2 in April 2012, drew 15,428 attendees for a $2.23 million live gate. So while the attendance was down for the UFC’s second trip to Sweden, the gate total was an increase from a year ago.
