UFC on FUEL TV 9 draws a reported 14,506 attendance for $2.71 million live gate

ericsson-globe-arena.jpgSTOCKHOLM – Saturday night’s UFC on FUEL TV 9 event drew an announced attendance of 14,506 and a live gate of $2,710,530.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) confirmed the attendance and gate figures at the night’s post-event press conference.

UFC on FUEL TV 9 took place at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, the promotion’s second event in Sweden. The main card aired on FUEL TV following prelims on Facebook.

The UFC’s first event in Sweden, UFC on FUEL TV 2 in April 2012, drew 15,428 attendees for a $2.23 million live gate. So while the attendance was down for the UFC’s second trip to Sweden, the gate total was an increase from a year ago.

The all-time top UFC-European attendance figures include:

  1. 17,133 – UFC 120 (The O2 Arena in London)
  2. 16,693 – UFC 105 (MEN Arena in Manchester, England)
  3. 16,235 – UFC 75 (The O2 Arena in London)
  4. 15,428 – UFC on FUEL TV 2 (Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm)
  5. 15,327 – UFC 85 (The O2 Arena in London)

The all-time top UFC-European live-gate figures include:

  1. $2.92 million – UFC 85 (The O2 Arena in London)
  2. $2.71 million – UFC on FUEL TV 9 (Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm)
  3. $2.70 million – UFC 75 (The O2 Arena in London)
  4. $2.63 million – UFC 70 (MEN Arena in Manchester, England)
  5. $2.56 million – UFC 120 (The O2 Arena in London)
