In what was the biggest fight of his career, the Inland Empire's Bobby Green proved that he is ready to contend in the UFC's lightweight division. Green won a very close split decision victory over longtime MMA veteran, Josh Thomson.

It was quite the run for Matt Brown. While he seemed like he would be a lifelong .500 fighter for the UFC after a 5-5 start, he rattled off an amazing seven-fight winning streak that brought him to the brink of title contention.

In the co-main event, the TUF 17 veteran pulled off an unanimous decision victory over Musoke. In the co-main event of tonight UFC Fight Night: Swanson vs. Stephens out of San Antonio, TX, TUF 17 winner Kelvin Gastelum takes on Nico Musoke.
