SACRAMENTO – Joe Lauzon (23-9 MMA, 10-6 UFC) snapped a two-fight losing skid and easily handled fellow lightweight Mac Danzig (21-12-1 MMA, 5-8 UFC) in the must-win bout.

The fight kicked off Saturday’s UFC on FOX 9 main card at Sacramento’s Sleep Train Arena.

Lauzon dominated the bout with superior jiu-jitsu and brutal elbow strikes to bloody up his opponent. It resulted in a 30-27 unanimous-decision win on all three judges’ cards.
