Round 1: McGee presses forward.  LaFlare lands a kick to the body and takes McGee down.  McGee stands but is taken back to the canvas.  He works his way back to his feet and they separate.  They exchange kicks to the body.  McGee lands a combination and LaFlare answers with a combination of his own.  LaFlare moves in with a knee to the body followed by a crisp combination.  LaFlare lands to the body.  McGee fires back.  McGee delivers an inside leg kick.  LaFlare lands an outside leg kick but McGee catches it and takes LaFlare down.  LaFlare scrambles back to his feet.  LaFlare lands shots to the body.  McGee delivers a counter right  hand.  He lands a kick to the body.  LaFlare misses with a spin kick to the body.  Close round.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for LaFlare.

Round 2: Technical difficulties.  MMAWeekly scored the round 10-9 for LaFlare.

Round 3: McGee continues to move forward and LaFlare continues to land counter shots.  McGee looks to get the fight to the ground but LaFlare shakes it off.  McGee lands a left hand followed by an outside leg kick.  McGee closes the distance and takes LaFlare down.  He looks for a guillotine choke.  LaFlare defends the attempt and gets back to his feet.  McGee delivers an inside leg kick.  LaFlare secures a takedown but McGee gets back to his feet.  McGee takes LaFlare down.  McGee lands shots in the closing seconds.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for McGee.

The judges scored the fight for LaFlare by unanimous decision.  All three scorecards read 29-28.
