Matt Mitrione (6-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) after his ugly comments during “The MMA Hour” about transgender fighter Fallon Fox was suspended, but the TUF 10 competitor is now back in the fight business as  he will face fellow "The Ultimate Fighter 10" cast member Brendan Schaub (9-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) at UFC on FOX 8.

UFC on FOX 8 takes place July 27 at KeyArena Seattle, Washington.

In his last fight Mitrione needed just 19 seconds to knock out Phil De Fries at UFC on Fuel TV: Mousasi vs. Latifi on April 6 in Stockholm, Sweden. Then two days later it was announced that “Meathead” was suspended after making transphobic comments on Fallon Fox during an interview.

TUF 10: Heavyweight finalist Schaub probably was on the edge of being cut as he had a two-fight losing streak, one to Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 134 by KO (punches) in the first round in de Janeiro, Brazil and a second to Ben Rothwell at UFC 145 by KO (punches & elbow) also in round one in Atlanta, Georgia. Then Schaub won Lavar Johnson unanimous decision victory at UFC 157 on February 23 in Anaheim, California.
