A fight between UFC-debuting heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Jack May has been added to UFC on FOX 11, UFC President Dana White announced on Monday night.
The 265-pound clash adds weight to the growing fight card, which takes place on April 19 in Orlando, Fla.
Lewis (9-2, 1 NC) comes into the organization with all nine of his professional wins coming as finishes. Apart from one no-contest, the Texas fighter is on a five-fight unbeaten streak, which includes a finish of current UFC heavyweight Jared Rosholt.
May (7-0) is undefeated in his young career, with six of his seven wins coming before the final bell. A local to the California fight scene, May picked up his latest win just last week with a head kick and punches at Tachi Palace Fights.
UFC on FOX 11 is scheduled to take place at Orlando’s Amway Center, and is headlined by a pivotal heavyweight affair between Fabricio Werdum and Travis Browne.
