colin-fletcher-2.jpgMONTREAL – MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) was on scene for today’s official “UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz” weigh-ins, where all 24 competitors successfully made weight for Saturday’s card.

Main-event fighters Georges St-Pierre (23-2 MMA, 17-2 UFC) and Nick Diaz (26-8 MMA, 7-5 UFC) each came in on target for their welterweight title fight. Champion St-Pierre, who got a massive ovation from his hometown Montreal crowd, weighed in at 170 pounds on the dot, while former Strikeforce champ Diaz was 169.

A pair of important welterweight fights come just before St-Pierre defends his title. Former interim champ Carlos Condit (28-6 MMA, 5-2 UFC) meets Johny Hendricks (14-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) in the co-main event, and a win by Hendricks will get him the next crack at the title. Condit was 169, while Hendricks came in at 171. And Jake Ellenberger (28-6 MMA, 7-2 UFC) takes on former Strikeforce champion Nate Marquardt (32-11-2 MMA, 10-4 UFC). Ellenberger was on target at 170; Marquardt was 171.

Friday’s event took place at Bell Centre in Montreal, the same venue that hosts Saturday’s card. UFC 158 has a main card on pay-per-view (10 p.m. ET) following prelims on FX (8 p.m. ET) and Facebook (6:35 p.m. ET).
