UFC continues to cut their roster. This time seven fighters have been released from the promotion. The fighters are Philip De Fries (9-3 (1) MMA, 2-3 UFC), Chris Spang (5-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and TUF 17 competitors Jimmy Quinlan (3-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), Collin Hart (4-2-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), Kevin Casey (5-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC), Gilbert Smith Jr. (5-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC), Adam Cella (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC). All mentioned has lost their last fights.

Cella lost to Swede Tor Troeng by submission (rear-naked choke) in the first round.

De Fries was knocked out just after 19 seconds in round one by Matt Mitrione.

Spang lost by unanimous decision to Russian Adlan Amagov.

All three participated at UFC on Fuel TV 9 - Mousasi vs. Latifi in Sweden.

Smith lost to Bubba McDaniel by submission (triangle armbar) in the last round.

Casey was knocked out (knees) by Josh Samman in round two.

Quinlan was TKO’d by Dylan Andrews in the opening round.

Hart lost by unanimous decision to Luke Barnat.

All four fought at UFC - The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale in Las Vegas.
