UFC President Dana White Paid Nam Phan, Rails On MMA Judging

UFC president Dana White is never one to mince words. And he especially doesn’t hold his tongue when he talks about one of the most controversial subjects in mixed martial arts, the state of refereeing and judging.

White was so incensed by the judges’ scoring of the Nam Phan and Leonard Garcia fight at the TUF 12 finale – Garcia won the decision – that he paid both Garcia and Phan their win money.

White on Thursday in Montreal talked about his thoughts on the state of refereeing and judging in the sport his company thrives on.
