UFC Hamburg Bout Nixed from Saturday’s Fight Card Due to Injury

A UFC Fight Night 93: Arlovski vs. Barnett preliminary bout between Alex Enlund and Martin Buschkamp has been cancelled due to injury.

No specifics were revealed, but UFC officials on Tuesday announced that Enlund suffered an injury, which forced the bout’s cancellation. Matchmakers will book Buschkamp in another fight on a future fight card.

Enlund (14-2) and Buschkamp (9-0) are both newcomers to the UFC, so it was surely a big disappointment to have their Octagon debuts cancelled.

The UFC has held four previous events in Germany, but UFC Fight Night 93 marks the promotion’s first venture into Hamburg. It is headlined by a heavyweight non-title fight between former champions Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett on Saturday at Barclaycard Arena.
