Five fighters from this past week’s UFC Fight Night 80 event face medical suspensions that could stretch six months.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission, which oversaw the event at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, issued the medical suspensions. Although every fighter faces a mandatory rest period of seven days, others are facing longer terms.

In the UFC Fight Pass streamed headliner, Rose Namajunas dominated heavily-hyped Paige VanZant from the opening bell before finishing her with a rear-naked choke at the 2:25 mark of Round 5. Despite the lopsided victory, it is Namajunas who faces the longer suspension of the two. However, like all fighters with the lengthy terms, a doctor can clear Namajunas early.

The full list of medical suspensions:

  • Rose Namajunas: suspended 180 days unless doctor clears left hand
  • Paige VanZant: suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
