Drug tests from UFC Fight Night 43 have come back negative for performance-enhancers and drugs of abuse.
A UFC official today told MMAjunkie that all tests issued at the June 28 card in Auckland, New Zealand, came back without any issues.
UFC Fight Night 43 took place at Vector Arena in Auckland and was the UFC’s first visit to New Zealand. The entire card streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nate Marquardt moved back to middleweight and submitted New Zealand native James Te Huna with a first-round armbar. In the co-headliner, another American topped a fighter from that side of the world as Jared Rosholt took a unanimous decision from Australia’s Soa Palelei.
UFC officials did not confirm which fighters, or how many, were tested at the event.
