UFC Fight Night 36 weigh-ins set for Friday in Brazil, Junior Dos Santos hosts Q&A session

Weigh-ins for next week’s “UFC Fight Night 36: Machida vs. Mousasi” event take place Friday at Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

The same venue hosts the following night’s FOX Sports 1-televised event, which features a key middleweight matchup between former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi in the night’s headlining contest. The co-feature also features a key matchup of 185-pound fighters as Francis Carmont meets Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza.

Additionally, former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos hosts a special Q&A session that is free and open to the public prior to the weigh-ins.

Doors to the festivities open to the public at 1:30 p.m. BRST local time. Dos Santos and octagon girls Camila Oliveira and Jhenny Andrade host an autograph session at 2 p.m. BRST local time. and Dos Santos then hits the stage for the Q&A at 3 p.m. ET.

The first UFC Fight Night 36 fighter steps on the scale at 4 p.m. BRST local time.
