MANCHESTER – Lyoto Machida’s crushing head-kick knockout of Mark Munoz in Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 30 main event proved as classy as it did violent.

The middleweight main event, which aired on FOX Sports 2 from Phones4u Arena in Manchester, England, started off slowly but ended with a bang when Machida (20-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC) caught Munoz (13-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) with a head kick midway through the first round.

However, the violent knockout ended with a pure-class move on Machida’s part.
