The drug test results have come back for UFC Fight Night 28: Teixeira vs. Bader.
Every fighter on the card was tested, according to the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA). All returned negative results.
“The results of these tests did not reveal any illicit drug use, and/or to improve performance, stimulants or substances used to mask the presence of the same by any of the athletes who participated in the UFC Fight Night: Bader vs. Teixeira,” read a statement from CABMMA spokesperson Caio Lemos.
UFC Fight Night 28: Teixeira vs. Bader took place on Sept. 4 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
The night’s main event featured a five-round bout between light heavyweights Glover Teixeira and Ryan Bader. Only Teixeira didn’t let it go the scheduled duration. He earned a TKO stoppage of Bader at the 2:55 mark of the opening round.
Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza also won a first-round stoppage victory over Yushin Okami in a pivotal middleweight bout in the night’s co-main event.
